I realize that nobody reads this but the Morale Committee Three and friends (and actually my mom checked it out, she liked the music video Keenan), but my job is to advertise the party for the SBA and this is another forum.

The Party should be good. It is early and there are a limited amount of funds for free food and Booze, so get their early if you are cheap. There are also drink specials all night for 2L's.

Tambien, there will be beer pong, and I am not promising anything, but it is Nipple Friday, so there is a chance you might see my dime sized wonders.

We made it this far (assuming you are a 2L), so lets have some fun and allow the SBA to pay for a part of it.

I made a promise to myself that this site would not really have anything to do with substantive Law School Bullshit. Saying that, in order to tell a funny classroom story I will have to break my own rule. After all rules are meant to be broken, and my story would suck with out an explanation.

So new rule: Section 1 "IF IT IS FUNNY ANYTHING GOES"
Section 1 (a) "unless it is an adverse possession joke"
ex: "I would totally adverse possess that ass!"

On to the humor:

In Copyright class this morning Prof. Franklyn was doing a hypo on the Merger rule. It was about a book of synonyms and whether a person would be copying his idea if they put the same list of words but in a different order for the word "PULPIT." In doing this he was asking for words that were similar. Mr. Andrew, of section 2 fame, was rattling off words and Franklyn was impressed. He asked, "where are you getting all these?" to which Mr. Andrew responded, "Someone copied your idea for a synonym book already. They called it a thesaurus."

2nd Annual: 1L Section 1 v. section 2 (w/ night section being drafted in ) Sloshball Grudge Match

This is the first Announcement of the 2nd Annual 1L intersection slosh ball throw down. I know nobody knows about this blog yet, but when people do, they will see this and it will be important.

Last April The Morale Committee started by organizing the first annual 1L Section 1 v. Section 2 (with section 3 being drafted in) Slosh ball challenge. It started humble, but it turned out nice. It was a great time for Class of 2009 to intermingle and get to know each other. So now it is Class of 2010's turn.

As a member of section 1 I was very disappointed with our sections showing. It was a "clean" match, but I was still pissed. It is a good thing that last years Section 2 captain decided to get awesome grades and transfer to the Law School formerly known as Boalt. What a Pussy.

So, here is the deal with this year. Currently we are looking at the first Friday after the Moot court arguments. Which means early April. The plan is to sell tickets to the whole school (last year it was just open to the 1L's), but only having the 1L's play. We raised enough money last year to have 2 kegs and food with only the 1L's, so it should be better this year.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also we are looking for some 1L's to help organize the event and get people excited.
